MetaVersusWorld Goes Live with Closed Alpha v1.1

We are excited to announce the release of version 1.1 of our closed MetaVersusWorld Alpha, which includes a host of new features and improvements.

Our Virtual Worlds

We are launching with brand new virtual worlds to explore, each with its unique landscapes, environments, and activities. All our virtual worlds allow global activities such as:

Dancing with signature moves.
Riding a Skateboard like a Pro.
Achievements Pursuits, including actions, riddles, leader boards.
Flying above the worlds.

Each virtual world has dedicated activities as well, and supports up to 50 Explorers (Players) at a time. This number increases with every micro update.

WildWestVerse

Explore the natural environment, and enjoy activities with a WildWest flavour, inspired by the WestWorld show that took us all by surprise and left us questioning the future.

FashionVerse

See the longest catwalk in the Metaverse, visit shops, and enjoy virtual commerce. Wonder in a virtual world resembling The Venetian in Las Vegas or the Luxury Shopping Mall in Singapore’s iconic Marina Bay Sands.

Meta City

Visit the City. Customise your avatar using our own in-app tooling, bring your Ready Player Me integration into our worlds, or simply activate Privacy Mode to protect your identity from others. Teleport to the other worlds in seconds.

AutoVerse

See an F1 circuit from the inside, and enjoy car racing games. If you’re a GTA (Grand Theft Auto) fan, you’ll appreciate the nostalgic feel of our car racing quests, which we will continue to expand with further releases (v2, open alpha, and beyond).

Registering on Steam

Step 1: Create an account on Steam.

Receiving a Steam Key for MetaVersusWorld

The official MW team (Management, Community Admins) can share Steam Keys to our Closed Alpha Club members and early backers. Each Steam Key is unique and can only be used or redeemed once. You can download the game on multiple devices with the same Key, however you cannot register multiple accounts with the same Key.

Redeeming a Steam Key

Option 1: Visit the Steam Redemption page.

Option 2: Manually configure the Steam key redemption process.

Navigate to your download page and click the button to reveal your Steam key.
Copy the key to your clipboard.
Once you have installed the Steam client, launch it and log into your account.
Find the button in the bottom left corner that says "+ ADD A GAME…" and choose the "Activate a Product on Steam" option.
A new window will open. Follow the prompts and paste the copied key into the "Product Code" field.
Hit "NEXT>" and if the key is valid, Steam will accept it and take you to your library page.
You can then select a game and click the INSTALL button to install your games.
Once your games are installed, the Install button will change to a PLAY button.

Playing MetaVersusWorld

Select the game in your Library. Then follow the instructions in this document to successfully register your account with MetaVersusWorld.

NOTE: Make sure to use a complex password with Lowercase + Uppercase + alphanumeric symbols from the 1st registration try,

V1.1 Release at a Glance:

Digital commerce: We have implemented a digital commerce feature which allows players and citizens to try out and purchase digital fashion items. This feature will be made fully available in the next releases.
Fashion and avatar tooling: We have added new fashion and avatar tooling options, which allow players and citizens to customise the appearance of their avatars.
Privacy Mode: We have added a privacy mode for Avatars which helps players and citizens protect their identity should they want to retain a level of anonymity and privacy in our virtual worlds.
Ready Player Me integration: We have integrated Ready Player Me, which allows users to bring their own virtual identity into our virtual worlds.
Skating, car racing, and map exploration: We have added new activities such as skating, car racing and map exploration, which provide even more ways to interact with the environment.
Bug fixes and performance improvements: We have addressed several bugs and made performance improvements to ensure a smooth exploration and gaming experience.

We are constantly working to improve the product and take in every valuable feedback. We would appreciate it if you could continue providing us with your feedback and suggestions to make the product better.

We have also started a closed alpha community (on Discord), where users can interact with each other, share tips and feedback, and help us identify any bugs or issues that need to be addressed. Join our community on Discord to get promoted to Alphas group, and stay updated with the latest developments.
